2.) The Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence held a hearing entitled, “American Innovation and the Future of Digital Assets Aligning the U.S. Securities Laws for the Digital Age.” @financialcmte
3.) LEGISLATION PASSED:
• H. Con. Res. 14: @housegop passed the budget resolution.
• H.R. 22, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act – landmark legislation ensuring only U.S. citizens participate in our elections.
• H.R. 1526, the No Rogue Rulings Act. This ensures rogue judges do not block the lawful exercise of executive power.
4.) Spoke at Michelin’s reception during their visit to Washington, D.C. — proud to highlight their longstanding presence and vital role in South Carolina’s 4th District.

1.) I chaired the @GOPoversight Subcommittee on Military and Foreign Affairs hearing on, “Salt Typhoon: Securing America’s Telecommunications from State-Sponsored Cyber Attacks.”
2.) The House @FinancialCmte held a full committee markup. H.R. 2392, the Stablecoin Transparency and Accountability for a Better Ledger Economy (STABLE) Act of 2025 passed Committee 32-17. 
3.) The @Dogesubcomittee announced our next DOGE hearing on reducing federal real estate. The hearing will take place on Tuesday April 8th. 
4.)Medina V. Planned Parenthood was finally heard in front of the Supreme Court. I, along with Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), Congressman Ralph Norman (SC-05), and Congresswoman Sheri Biggs (SC-03), led a bicameral amicus brief in this case to to ensure that no tax payer dollars go to the left’s radical abortion agenda.

Gary Gensler’s SEC seems to have, at best, a misguided understanding of what constitutes a security when it involves digital assets. Their approach to regulating anything remotely adjacent to the blockchain, including art and airdrops, is predatory and in some cases—borderline ix.com/i/web/status/1…cx.com/EleanorTerrett…rocess illustrating the disconnect between the SEC’s regulation of physical assets to those on the blockchain.
In the end, we arrived at where we all thought: the SEC has yet to define what the limiting principle is when it comes to NFTs.

Yesterday, Congress voted to pass the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act. This long overdue legislation, known as Fit21, will finally bring regulatory clarity to digital asset markets and allow blockchain technology to flourish throughout our economy.
